It’s almost Christmas! One of my favorite Christmas songs is the 12 days of Christmas, so I thought, what could be more fun than the 12 Weddings of Christmas, themed after the verses in the song! After all it is a song about lovers! Let’s get started with day number one…..
*Cue the music!♬ ♬…..On the first wedding of Christmas my true love married me……with a Partridge in a Pear Tree!! Ok, so maybe a Partridge in a Pear Tree wedding would be a little literal, but how about a “Perfect Pair”, Pear themed day? To start with, I’ve chosen a bold palette of pear, grass, purple, goldenrod, and navy.
Now to get the word out! These great Save the Date cards fit perfectly with our theme and colors! And I especially love the vintage feel they bring. I found them from Etsy seller Orange 81.
And what better for the groom to propose with than this gorgeous pear shaped ring? This beautiful find is from Etsy seller Kristin Coffin. 
Now to dream up the bride’s dress. A custom Avail & Company gown, of course! The short fun flirty 50′s style dress is white with a sheer upper bodice, tiny buttons down the back and pear green accenting the waist, and underskirt. And what is that in her hair? Well a partridge fascinator of course!
Every bride needs a special gift for her bridesmaid. And what fits more perfectly for this wedding than a pear shaped gem pendant with monogram charm. I found this one from Etsy seller Otis B Jewelry.
This whole pear theme got me inspired to create some Retro Pear Prints! You could use them lots of places for the wedding, and I thought the bridesmaid dresses would be a great place!
The pear prints look great on these retro vintage bridesmaid dress styles. I’m picturing them printed on an organic cotton sateen, to keep this wedding a little more on the casual side and give the girls a dress they can wear again.
And now for the food! Along side the cake, these poached pears would make an amazing treat! You can find the directions at Sips and Spoonfuls.
Then for the favors. One of my favorites, Juicy Pear Jelly Belly’s! Yum! You can buy them in bulk at the Superior Nut Company.
